Choosing the right centre for your child
The importance of being licensed
The care provider is dedicated and committed enough to the safety and well being of your children to have their home inspected and passed by the health unit, fire department, and city hall.
They themselves, as well as everyone else working with the children will have completed a successful criminal record check.
The health unit ensures that each individual who receives a license has a basic understanding of children, their needs, and appropriate methods of dealing with problems.
Check to ensure that the daycare has an insurance policy for the daycare, again this ensure that standards have been met to provide a safe environment for your child.
Why our center is right for your child.
We have designed and build a safe, stimulating and inviting place for you child. We are a child centered facility with enthusiastic staff members that and experienced in Early Childhood Education and caregivers devoted to the academic, emotional and physical well being of every child.
The E.C.E. program has been designed to ensure that anyone being certified has met or exceeded a good understanding of child development, child psychology, behavior modifications, personal communication as well as a background in education. Through these courses we are trained to handle problems in a positive manner, helping to develop a positive self esteem which ensures a child has enough believe in themselves that they will fell free and confident enough to learn by exploring their environment, and not being afraid to try new things.
Along with positive intervention to develop self-esteem, our day is also planned to provide as many positive experiences, arranging our day to meet the requirements of a young child.
We have rules in the daycare that are put in place to ensure the safety and well being of everyone. Children need to feel safe as well as learning to respect boundaries. These rules are to teach respect of others and their belongings and are enforced consistently.
Education is a large part of our program; it is presented in a non-stressful, non-pressured manner. Learning at this age should always be fun, and relevant to the age of the child. Children learn best at this age through hands on experiences that are provided each day. We also have fun learning at circle time through calendar, games, songs, stories, and sharing experiences with one another. Each child’s learning styles are unique and we work to incorporate the needs of each individual child. Whether a child learns best through visual, audio, or tactile stimulation their needs are being met. Each and every day the child’s emotional needs are met through loving support of a caregiver in a safe and nurturing manner that is unique to each child.
